Because we are currently in the full swing of Fall, I thought I would round up a few of my Fall Recipes.
Here in Minnesota, the fall season is a beautiful time of year, and my favorite!
One of my favorites things about fall – and I am sure it’s pretty much everyone’s favorite – the Leaves!
Bright yellows, oranges, and reds everywhere to give us that perfect back drop for those family photos!
The colder weather brings in the cool crisp air and with that the craving for comfort foods.
Snacks
A perfect time of year to fire up the oven for these treats!
- Roasted Pumpkin Seeds – After you carve the pumpkins, collect the seeds and turn them into crunchy salty treats!
- Cinnamon Maple Roasted Almonds – A breeze to make and with only 4 ingredients, anyone can make these delicious toasted almonds!
Drinks
Warm up with this Homemade Vegan Chai, it’s a wonderful spiced tea that is just full of that fall flavor!
Bread
A Tuscan Herb Artisan Bread that’s simple to make with simple ingredients and is simply delicious!
Spreads
You can enjoy this Spiced Pumpkin Butter on toast, in yogurt, in oatmeal, or even as a dip.
A Variety of Fall Recipe Soups
Nothing say’s fall like a cup of hot Soup! Here are our family’s favorites, enjoy!
- Creamy Vegan Squash Soup– A thick creamy and full of flavor soup that can be a side dish or served as a main dish. Serve along side a sandwich or enjoy with crackers.
- Vegan Baked Potato Soup – A simple soup that goes with everything! Can be customized with your favorite vegetables.
- Vegan Wild Rice Soup – This Vegan Wild Rice Soup is hearty, creamy, and will give you that cozy comfy warm feeling of a Minnesota home in the winter months. Once everyone is done enjoying the soup, save those left overs for a new meal, the Vegan Wild Rice Burgers.
Main Dishes of Fall Recipes
- Vegan Tater Tot Hotdish – A Minnesota staple at every family get-together.
- Vegan Mexican Stuffed Peppers – Full of plant based protein, fiber, and are gluten-free!
- Vegan Macaroni and Cheese – This dish can also be enjoyed baked. It is my favorite comfort food!
Fall Recipes of Side Dishes
Roasting vegetables this time of year makes the house smell like fall and gives the house a warm cozy feeling.
- Maple Roasted Carrots – Tender roasted carrots with a sweet caramelized sauce makes this side dish perfect with anything and every meal you serve.
- Oven Roasted Green Beans – A healthy side dish to any meal.
- Maple Roasted Brussel Sprouts – The sweet flavor of the maple syrup compliment the earthy taste of the roasted Brussels sprouts nicely.
Finishing the Fall Recipes with Desserts
I love chocolate and apple desserts during the cold seasons for two reasons, the smell and the comfy warm feeling.
The smell reminds me of the family holidays and the comfy warm feeling of the house while baking these desserts.
- Vegan Apple Pie Bar – This recipe is a favorite for all our family gatherings. Take advantage of the abundant apples of the fall and make this dessert.
- Vegan Chocolate Sheet Cake – With this moist chocolate cake, you will satisfy your sweet tooth and your chocolate cravings!
- Old Fashioned Raw Apple Cake – The smell of the warming spice of cinnamon baked with fresh apples in a sweet and delicious cake
Enjoy and Happy Fall You All!
