What is in this dressing?

  • Oil – I used avocado oil in my dressing. This oil has a mild flavor and will not overpower or take away from any of the other ingredients.
  • Vinegar – An apple cider vinegar will give this dressing the right amount of tanginess.
  • Lemon Juice – The lemon juice can be switched with a lime juice to give this dressing a slightly different flavor. Adding a citrus fruit gives the dressing a slight fruity and tangy taste.
  • Real Maple Syrup – The maple syrup adds a sweet caramel and vanilla flavor to the dressing.
  • Mustard – I always like the simple yellow mustard in my recipes, but this can be the mustard of your choice. Yellow mustard has an earthy, clean, and crisp flavor that will blend well with everything.
  • Seasonings – Minced garlic, powdered onion, salt, and pepper is all the seasoning you need to make this dressing.
