This Cucumber Lavender Mint Infused Water is a refreshing alternative to any juice or flavored water.

The cool and crisp flavor of the cucumber blended with lavender and fresh mint make this drink a perfect drink for the hot summer.

Why use cucumbers in this drink?

The cucumbers help you stay hydrated and are a healthy addition to any beverage during hot days.

Do you have to use fresh mint? YES!

Fresh mint has a milder flavor than a dried mint, you don’t want to overpower the flavor of the lavender or cucumbers.

Pairing the cucumber and fresh mint aid in flushing toxins from the body and help with cleansing the gut.

Lavender is optional, it adds a hint of mint with a floral flavor, and it can have a calming effect on the body.

This simple and easy healthy alternative to any sugar filled or alcoholic beverage has quickly become my new favorite summer beverage and I am sure it will be yours as well!

  • Cucumbers – Fresh unpeeled cucumbers.

How to make Cucumber Lavender Mint Infused Water

Clean and chop the fresh cucumber into pieces, add to a blender along with water and blend until liquefied.

Place the dried lavender and cleaned fresh mint leaves into a measuring cup and pour boiling water over the herbs.

Let the lavender and mint steep for 5 to 7 minutes in the boiling water.

Pour the cucumber mixture over a strainer into a measuring cup, this will remove any large pieces.

Next pour the steeped lavender mint mixture over the strainer.

Once everything has been strained, pour the mixture into a quart jar, cover, and place into the refrigerator for cooling (about 4 hours).

Serving this refreshing water

Pour the mixture into a glass, about 1/2 full, top the mixture with a sparkling water, and garnish with a cucumber slice or mint leaves.

ENJOY!
