Cucumber Lavender Mint Infused Water

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Small Cucumbers Do not peel. Extra for garnish.
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Lavender This is optional. You can add more or less to your liking.
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Mint You can add more or less to your liking. Extra for garnish.
  • 1 Cup Cold Water To blend the cucumbers.
  • 1 Cup Boiling water For steeping the mint and lavender.
  • Sparkling Water

Method
 

  1. Clean and chop the fresh cucumber into pieces, add to a blender along with water and blend until liquefied.
  2. Place the dried lavender and cleaned fresh mint leaves into a measuring cup and pour boiling water over the herbs.
  3. Let the lavender and mint steep for 5 to 7 minutes in the boiling water.
  4. Pour the cucumber mixture over a strainer into a measuring cup, this will remove any large pieces.
  5. Next pour the steeped lavender mint mixture over the strainer.
  6. Once everything has been strained, pour the mixture into a quart jar, cover, and place into the refrigerator for cooling (about 4 hours).
Serving this refreshing water
  1. Pour the mixture into a glass, about 1/2 full, top the mixture with a sparkling water, and garnish with a cucumber slice or mint leaves.
