Oven Roasted Green Beans

Last Updated on November 9, 2025

These Oven Roasted Green Beans are a healthy side dish that are so easy to make.

With only a few ingredients tossed on fresh green beans, they make a perfect side dish for just about any meal and anytime of year.

What I love about these green beans is that you can’t under or over bake them, bake them a little longer for a crispy green bean or bake a little shorter for a crisp, slightly tender green bean.

You can also wrap the beans in parchment paper and foil to soften the green beans, this steams the beans which make them soft and tender with out any crispness.

What dishes do these roasted green beans compliment?

Serve these green beans along side my Vegan Hobo Dinner and my Vegan Baked Beans for a perfect meatless meal.

Don’t know what to do with the left overs?

I like to snack on them cold or add them to any salad.

Ingredients for the Oven Roasted Green Beans

  • Fresh Green Beans – I love fresh green beans! The best way to describe the flavor is an earthy mild green vegetable/fruit. You can enjoy them cooked, baked, or raw.
  • Onion Powder – Onion powder will add a much needed flavor of a sweet and savory onion.
  • Minced Garlic – The minced garlic has a stronger flavor than fresh garlic, but it is less work to prepare. Garlic powder can be used as a substitute.
  • Oil – In this recipe I used avocado oil and I also have used olive oil, use your favorite oil.
  • Salt and Pepper – Season to taste.
