Oven Roasted Green Beans

With only a few ingredients tossed on to fresh green beans, you have a perfect side dish for anytime of year.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb. Fresh Green Beans
  • 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic Fresh or powdered garlic can be used.
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Oil I have used olive or avocado oil on my beans. Use your favorite oil.

Method
 

  1. Clean and dry the fresh green beans.
  2. Preheat the oven to 425° F.
  3. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the green beans evenly over the baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle the garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the green beans.
  5. Drizzle the oil over the green beans.
  6. Stir everything together on the baking sheet, making sure to coat all the beans with the seasoning and oil.
  7. Place the baking sheet into the oven, bake for about 8 minutes, stir, and rotate the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for another 7 minutes or until the beans are soft but slightly crispy.
  9. Remove from the oven and serve as a side dish to any meal.

Notes
Camping?  Try these green beans wrapped in parchment paper and foil, toss on the grill or camp fire.
No need to heat these beans up the next day, enjoy them cold as a snack or toss them into any salad.
