Easy to find ingredients for this White Bean Dip

  • White Beans – I used the great northern bean. I like the mild, delicate flavor of this bean, it will take on the flavor of whatever you add to it without over powering the dip. But not all white beans are the same.
  • Oil – Olive oil was used in this recipe, any other oil will work just as well.
  • Lime Juice – This will give the dip just the right amount of tang. Use fresh or store bought.
  • Seasoning – Just a sprinkle of basil and thyme, along with minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Variations for this dip

  • Pesto
  • Fresh herbs
  • Sauteed garlic and onions in place of the onion powder
  • Lemon juice in place of lime juice
  • Cannellini, butter beans, or even navy beans in place of white beans

Experiment with all or any of these different variations to find your favorite.
