White Bean Dip

This simple yet very easy White Bean Dip can be used as a dip, spread, or just eating it by the spoon fulls!

Equipment

  • High speed blender. immersion wand, or food processor

Ingredients
  

  • 1 15oz. can Great Northern Beans This can be any white bean of your choice. Or Cannellini, Butter Bean, Navy Bean.
  • 1 tsp Lime Juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Basil
  • 1/4 tsp Thyme
  • Salt and Pepper to taste.

Instructions
 

  • Rinse and drain the white beans, place the beans into a high speed blender or a food processor.
  • Pulse until the beans are smooth.
  • Add the basil, thyme, oil, garlic, onion, lime juice, salt, and pepper to the beans and blend.
  • Transfer to a seal-able container, or a serving bowl.
  • If serving, drizzle oil on top of the dip with fresh herbs.

What to serve with the White Bean Dip
  • Any type of crackers
  • Carrot sticks or other veggies
  • Pretzels
  • Pita bread or pita chips
  • As a sandwich spread.
  • Spread on a toasted baguette
  • Spread on a bagel
  • Spread on a rice cake
  • Add to a pasta dish
