Vegan Pepperoni Mushrooms

- 2 8 oz. Tubs Fresh Mushrooms Cleaned and sliced. Use any type of mushroom you like.
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
Mix these ingredients together in a small bowl.
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1 Fresh Onion Or 2 tsp of Powdered Onion.
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
- 2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
- 1/4 tsp Red Chili Pepper Flakes
- 1/2 tsp Fennel Seed
- 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 Tbsp Real Maple Syrup
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Clean and slice the mushrooms and onions.
Add oil, mushrooms, and onions to a medium sized fry pan and saute for about 7 minutes or until the they caramelize and slightly brown.
In a small bowl, add the water, tomato paste, maple syrup, all the spices, and mix well.
Next add the small bowl of ingredients to the fry pan with the mushrooms, stir while cooking for about another 7 minutes.
Once the mushrooms are done add to what ever you would normally add pepperoni too.
