Garlic Mustard Maple Asparagus

A slightly sweet sauce added to these asparagus that are baked in a oven to a tender yet crunchy perfection!

- 2 Tbsp Oil Olive or Avocado Oil
- 1 Tbsp Real Maple Syrup
- 1 Tbsp Mustard I used a plain yellow mustard, use your favorite mustard.
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic This can be optional.
- Salt and Pepper to taste.
- 1 lb. Fresh Asparagus
Preheat oven to 425° F, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and set aside.
Clean and cut or snap off about 2 inches of the stem ends of the asparagus.
Arrange a single layer of asparagus onto the lined baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix together, the oil, maple syrup, garlic, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Drizzle the sauce over the asparagus, and roll the vegetables so they are coated completely and evenly.
Place the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the asparagus is soft.
Once they are soft, remove from the oven and serve.
Serve these sweet and delicious Garlic Mustard Maple Asparagus as a side dish with any entree.
