Method
- Bring water to a boil ( 212 degrees ).
- In a large measuring cup ( 2 cups ) add a hibiscus tea bag or the loose hibiscus flower and add the boiling water.
- Steep the tea between 10 to 20 minutes, until it is a dark red color.
- Remove the tea bag or tea strainer and let the tea cool before pouring into a ice tray.
- Place the ice tray into the freezer over night or until solid.
- Once the tea is frozen, remove the cubes from the tray into a high speed blender.
- Add the lemonade and blend on high speed until smooth.
- Pour into 2 glasses.
- Clean and slice the fruit or herb of your choice.
- Garnish the drinks before serving.
No blend drink ideas
- After the tea has frozen, remove the ice cubes and place them into a tall glass.
- Add lemonade, ice tea, or a sparkling water of your choice.
- Garnish with fresh herbs or fruit, serve and enjoy!
