Equipment

  • High Speed Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Bag Hibiscus tea Or 1 to 2 tsp of loose Hibiscus flowers.
  • 1 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Lemonade

Garnish

  • Any Berry of choice. Blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, etc.
  • Any citrus fruit of choice. lemon, lime or orange slices.
  • Any herb of choice. Pineapple sage, lavender or a mint of choice.

Instructions
 

  • Bring water to a boil ( 212 degrees ).
  • In a large measuring cup ( 2 cups ) add a hibiscus tea bag or the loose hibiscus flower and add the boiling water.
  • Steep the tea between 10 to 20 minutes, until it is a dark red color.
  • Remove the tea bag or tea strainer and let the tea cool before pouring into a ice tray.
  • Place the ice tray into the freezer over night or until solid.
  • Once the tea is frozen, remove the cubes from the tray into a high speed blender.
  • Add the lemonade and blend on high speed until smooth.
  • Pour into 2 glasses.
  • Clean and slice the fruit or herb of your choice.
  • Garnish the drinks before serving.

No blend drink ideas

  • After the tea has frozen, remove the ice cubes and place them into a tall glass.
  • Add lemonade, ice tea, or a sparkling water of your choice.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs or fruit, serve and enjoy!
