This Watermelon Lime Slush is a cool, healthy, and refreshing treat for the summer.
It is so simple to make, but the hardest part about the recipe is waiting for the watermelon to freeze!
But trust me it is so worth the wait!
You will also notice that there is no added sugar, you don’t need it, the watermelon is sweet enough.
Every summer I buy a large watermelon, the largest one I can find, so I have extra left overs.
Once everyone has eaten as much as they can and it’s the end of the day, I throw the left over watermelon into the blender, blend and pour into ice cube trays to freeze.
Even though this recipe is all about making a refreshing slushie, the ice cubes can be added to other drinks too.
I love to add them to any adult beverage or any flavored sparkling water as a ice cube to keep the drinks cold.

What ingredients are in the Slush?
- Watermelon – So many varieties of watermelon out in the market today, pick your favorite. Watermelon has so many beneficial nutrients and hydrates the body, which makes it perfect to enjoy during those long hot summer days.
- Lime – Fresh lime or concentrated lime juice will work just as well in this slush. Adding lime to this slush adds more of the nutrients and vitamins that are beneficial to the body.
- Water – The water helps to make this slush a slushie consistency, making it easier to drink through the straw.
