Vegan Yogurt Fruit Sundaes

These Vegan Yogurt Fruit Sundaes are so easy to make and a perfect treat!

I know this is a simple recipe, but sometimes you need a reminder that treats don’t have to be complicated.

This recipe can be made anytime of year using in season fruits and berries.

It just so happens to be the end of summer when I created this recipe, so I am using peaches, strawberries, and blueberries.

Other berries that I have used are blackberries and raspberries, choose what is available and in season in your area.

Different fruits to try: bananas, mangoes, cherries, or any of the many varieties of melons.

Now as for a crunchy topping, I used a graham cracker.

You do not have to add a cracker or cookie on top, you can replace it with a nut or, of course, granola (try my homemade granola, A Healthy Trail Mix Granola.

Nuts that compliment the sundae are chopped almonds, walnuts, pecans, or even crushed cashews.

Ingredients for the sundae

  • Fruits and/or Berries – I like to use fresh and in season fruits. In this sundae I used peaches, strawberries, and blueberries. Use your favorite fruits/berries to your own sundaes.
  • Vegan Yogurt – Pick your favorite vegan yogurt.
  • Cookies/Crackers – You can use either crackers or cookies. We like to use graham crackers for our sundaes.
  • Nuts or Granola – Don’t want to use cookies or crackers? Add a homemade granola or try different nuts such as sliced almonds, pecans, walnuts, or crushed cashews.
  • Vegan Whipped Cream – This is optional.

    How to make Vegan Yogurt Fruit Sundaes

    Clean and slice the peaches and strawberries.

    Place the sliced peaches into the bottom of a bowl.

    Scoop a generous amount of a vegan yogurt of your choice on top of the peaches.

    Sprinkle the blueberries on top of the vegan yogurt.

    Place the sliced strawberries on top of the vegan yogurt and blueberries.

    Crush the cookies, crackers, nuts, or granola of your choice on top of the berries.

    Method
     

    1. Clean and slice the peaches and strawberries.
    2. Place the sliced peaches into the bottom of a bowl.
