Learn how to make a Avocado Mask with your left over avocado’s.

Do you ever have left over avocado’s that just sit in your refrigerator?

We all have good intentions to use them up before they go bad.

But in reality we end up throwing them away.

So instead of throwing them in the compost, why not make a hair and facial mask out of those left over and not so appetizing avocado’s!

In my house every week, we cut up fresh avocado’s and put them in the refrigerator.

By Friday we notice that we haven’t used up the avocado’s!

And they are not looking so appetizing. So now what do we do with them?

I figured “Why not use them for a Mask!” No Waste!

So I thought I would share my recipe for How to make a Avocado Mask……

How to make a Avocado Mask

What you need to make this mask

  • Avocado’s -Use the avocado’s that have been sitting in the refrigerator for the last few days. You can use fresh avocado’s if you would like. Use what every you have left in the refrigerator.
  • 1 Tbsp Yogurt – This can be a yogurt that has been sitting in the back of the fridge that everyone forgot about. Why not use it in this mask! This yogurt can be dairy or non dairy.
  • 1 Tbsp Real Maple Syrup – Maple syrup works beautiful on the skin. It is packed with concentrations of antioxidant, and will give your skin a youthful appearance. Honey can be used instead of maple syrup. If you use honey or maple syrup, you get all the same benefit’s for the skin such as treating dryness, redness, and blemishes.

Directions

First– Take the old avocado’s out of the refrigerator to let them warm up to room temperature. As you can see these avocado’s do not look so appetizing.

After the avocado’s have warmed to room temperature.

Add the yogurt and the maple syrup to the old avocado’s.

Mix everything together.

Clean your face, apply all over your face and don’t forget the neck!

If there is any left over, why not apply it to your hair as well.

Leave it on for 10 minutes and wash off. It’s that easy!
