This Apple Pear Fruit Salad is the perfect seasonal treat!

It’s that time of year, apples, pears, and kiwi are all in season.

So I like to take advantage of the abundance of varieties that are available at this time of year.

The apples, pears, and kiwi pair perfectly with a light sweet citrus flavored dressing.

This salad is simple to wipe together in no time at all, packed with vitamin C, and has a crisp bright flavor.

Want to change the salad up every once in a while?

Add in different varieties of nuts or dried fruits.

Nuts to try: Silvered almonds, candied walnuts or pecans.

Dried Fruits to try: Cranberries, blueberries, cherries, or strawberries.

Serve the salad as a side to any meal, as a breakfast, or simply enjoy it as a treat.

Apple Pear Fruit Salad

Ingredients for the fruit salad

  • Apples – Any apple will be a great addition to this salad. My favorites are the gala apple or the pink lady apple.
  • Pears – Any pear will do for this salad. I used the bartlett pear.
  • Kiwi – Any variety of kiwi can be used in the fruit salad. I have used the golden and green kiwi.

Fruit salad dressing

  • Plant Based Milk – I used an unsweetened vanilla flavored almond milk in my dressing. Use your favorite plant based milk.
  • Orange Juice – I added just a little orange juice to give the dressing a little tangy sweet citrus flavor.
  • Oil – I like to use the mild flavored avocado oil in all my fruit dressings. The oil helps to evenly coat the fruit with the dressing.
  • Real Maple Syrup – Maple syrup adds just a little extra sweetness.
  • Lemon Juice – Adding a little more citrus to the dressing.
  • Poppy Seeds – These seeds add a slight nutty, sweet, and earthy fruity flavor to the dressing.
