Apple Pear Fruit Salad

The apples, pears, and kiwi pair perfectly with the light sweet citrus flavored dressing.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Apples I like to use the gala or the pink lady apples. Use your favorite apples.
  • 2 Pears I used the bartlett pear. Use your favorite pears.
  • 1 Kiwi I have used the golden and the green kiwi. Use your favorite kiwi.
Fruit Salad Dressing
  • 1 Tbsp Plant Based Milk I used a unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Use your favorite plant based milk in the dressing.
  • 1 Tbsp Real Maple Syrup
  • 2 Tbsp Orange Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Oil I used avocado oil.
  • 1/4 tsp Poppy Seeds

Method
 

  1. Clean, slice, and dice the apples and pears into cubes.
  2. Add to a medium sized serving bowl.
  3. Peel and dice the kiwi into cubes and place into the serving bowl.
Making the salad dressing
  1. In a measuring cup, whisk together the plant based milk, o.j., oil, maple syrup, lemon juice, and poppy seeds.
  2. Pour the dressing over the fruits and toss to coat, serve.

Notes

Want to change the salad up every once in a while?
Add in different varieties of nuts or dried fruits.
Nuts to try: Silvered almonds, candied walnuts or pecans.
Dried Fruits to try: Cranberries, blueberries, cherries, or strawberries.
