Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients for a Steamer
  • 1 1/2 Cups Plant Based Milk I used a unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Use your favorite plant based milk.
  • 2 tsp Real Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
Chocolate Cinnamon Steamer - add this to the base ingredients.
  • 2 tsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1/8 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Maple Cinnamon Steamer - add this to the base ingredients.
  • 1/8 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Vanilla Almond Steamer - add this to the base ingredients.
  • 3/4 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract Change the 1 tsp of vanilla extract to 3/4 tsp.
  • 1/4 tsp Almond Extract

Equipment

  • 1 Milk Frother Electrical or battery. Optional.

Method
 

  1. In a small saucepan, add your plant based milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  2. Next add all the other ingredients that you prefer to customize your steamer.
  3. Whisk over a medium heat until a slow boil.
  4. While the mixture is heating, froth the milk until it is full of little bubbles and peaks.
  5. Once the mixture is hot, pour into 2 mugs and serve.
How to serve your steamer
  1. There a lot of different ways to serve you steamer.
  2. You can just top it with more frothed milk and sprinkle a little spice over the top.
  3. You can also add a homemade whipped topping or add a dollop of a vegan marshmallow cream on top.
