This simply easy and tasty Vegan Peanut Butter Bread is a vegan version of the Great Depression Peanut Butter Bread.

Equipment

  • 1 9x5 glass loaf pan

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups All Purpose White Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/3 Cup Plant Based Milk I used a unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Use your favorite plant based milk.
  • 1/2 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  • Grease a 9x5 inch glass loaf pan, set aside.
  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, add the flour, salt, baking powder, brown sugar, milk, and peanut butter.
  • Mix everything together until well combined.
  • Spread the dough into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Slide the loaf into the oven and bake for 55 to 65 minutes or until you can insert a toothpick into the center and it comes out clean.
  • Once done, remove the bread from the oven.
  • Cool the loaf in the pan.
  • Once the loaf is cooled to the touch , slide a knife around the sides before turning the pan over to remove the loaf.
  • After the loaf has been removed from the pan, place the loaf on a cooling rack to completely cool.
  • Drizzle the Maple Cinnamon Glaze over the top of the loaf before slicing.
  • Don't want a glaze on the bread?
  • Slice and smear with a vegan margarine, more creamy peanut butter, or your favorite fruit spread.
