Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 4 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 3 Cup Plant Based Milk I used a unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Pick your favorite milk.
  • 1 tsp Real Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • In a medium sauce pan, add all the above ingredients.
  • Whisk everything together to break down the lumps of the cornstarch and cocoa powder.
  • Start heating the ingredients on medium heat while constantly stirring.
  • Bring everything to a boil.
  • Once everything is at a boil, continue cooking and stirring, for about 10 minutes or until the pudding thickens.
  • Once the pudding thickens, remove from the heat.
  • If using your pudding for a ice cream topping, pour over your dish of ice cream, while the pudding is still warm.
  • Or if you are making a pie filling with this pudding, add the warm pudding to the pie crust, let it cool to thicken, before serving.
  • But if enjoying just the pudding by itself, pour the warm pudding into dishes to cool and serve with a dollop of your favorite whipped topping.
  • When storing your pudding or pie, cover and place in the refrigerator.
