Cuisine American
- 3 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 4 Tbsp Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 3 Cup Plant Based Milk I used a unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Pick your favorite milk.
- 1 tsp Real Vanilla Extract
In a medium sauce pan, add all the above ingredients.
Whisk everything together to break down the lumps of the cornstarch and cocoa powder.
Start heating the ingredients on medium heat while constantly stirring.
Bring everything to a boil.
Once everything is at a boil, continue cooking and stirring, for about 10 minutes or until the pudding thickens.
Once the pudding thickens, remove from the heat.
If using your pudding for a ice cream topping, pour over your dish of ice cream, while the pudding is still warm.
Or if you are making a pie filling with this pudding, add the warm pudding to the pie crust, let it cool to thicken, before serving.
But if enjoying just the pudding by itself, pour the warm pudding into dishes to cool and serve with a dollop of your favorite whipped topping.
When storing your pudding or pie, cover and place in the refrigerator.
