Overnight Oats with Fruit

These overnight oats with fruit are easy to whip together the night before and are customizable.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Small Banana Optional.
  • 2/3 Cups Oats I used a quick oat. You can also use old fashioned oats.
  • 1 Cup Plant Based Milk I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk in my oats. Use your favorite plant based milk.
  • 1 Tbsp Nut Butter or Nut powder Optional. I have added almond powder to my oats before placing into the refrigerator.
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp Real Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • Fruit I used blueberries. Add your favorite fruit to your oats.
  • Nuts (Optional) Top your oats with your favorite nuts.

Method
 

  1. In a small mixing bowl, mash a banana (optional), then add the oats, maple syrup, plant based milk, ground cinnamon, and a nut butter of your choice (optional).
  2. Stir to blend completely and pour into 2 small dishes or a canning jars, cover, and place into the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
  3. If using frozen fruit, place the fruit of your choice into a container, cover, and place into the refrigerator overnight.
  4. The next morning, remove the oats and fruit.
  5. Stir the oats before adding the fruit.
  6. Add the fruit and nuts before enjoying.

Notes

Customize your oats with:
 
Different fruits or berries, such as: raspberries, blackberries, raisins, peaches, apples, or a mango.
Nuts or nut butters, such as: peanut butter, almond butter, diced almonds, walnuts, or pecans.
