Method
- In a small mixing bowl, mash a banana (optional), then add the oats, maple syrup, plant based milk, ground cinnamon, and a nut butter of your choice (optional).
- Stir to blend completely and pour into 2 small dishes or a canning jars, cover, and place into the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
- If using frozen fruit, place the fruit of your choice into a container, cover, and place into the refrigerator overnight.
- The next morning, remove the oats and fruit.
- Stir the oats before adding the fruit.
- Add the fruit and nuts before enjoying.
Notes
Customize your oats with:
Different fruits or berries, such as: raspberries, blackberries, raisins, peaches, apples, or a mango.
Nuts or nut butters, such as: peanut butter, almond butter, diced almonds, walnuts, or pecans.
