How to make Homemade Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 oz. Can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 6 oz. Can Tomato Paste
  • 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Real Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 Cup Molasses
  • 1 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tsp Yellow Mustard
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Combine all the ingredients into a medium saucepan.
  • Cook on a medium heat, stir and bring everything to a simmer.
  • Make sure to cover the pot, but do not place the lid on to tight, letting the steam escape.
  • Keeping the sauce at a simmer, continue to check and stir the sauce for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • You will notice the sauce will start to thicken.
  • After about 15 minutes, remove the sauce from the heat and leave it to cool.
  • Once cool, pour into a quart jar, cover and place into the refrigerator.

  • As a marinade.
  • A dip for those fries.
  • Pour the sauce onto a sandwich.
  • Bast any vegetable or burger.
