Easy Homemade Croutons

The perfectly seasoned cubed bread with a crispy outside and a soft inside make these perfect for any soup, salad or even as a snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 to 4 Bagels I used a plain bagel.
  • 1/3 Cup Oil Avocado or Olive oil.
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  • Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cube the bagels and spread them evenly over the parchment paper.
  • Measure out the oil and drizzle over the cubed bagels.
  • Sprinkle the seasonings over every thing.
  • With your hands, lightly toss the cubes to make sure everything is covered with the oil and seasonings.
  • Place into the oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until slightly browned.
  • Remove from the oven to let the croutons cool.
  • Store the croutons in a large canning jar with a airtight cover.

Notes

How to serve your croutons
Soups - Sprinkle the croutons on any soup instead of crackers.
Chili - Replace the crackers with croutons!
Salads - Who doesn't love croutons on a salad.
Snacking - Keep a jar of these crunchy treats in the cupboard for a quick and easy treat.
Serve them on anything your heart desires!
