Cucumber and Tomato Sandwiches

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Slices Bread of your choice White, wheat, artisan, naan, gluten free or tortilla.
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Medium Tomato
  • Mayo of your choice
  • Margarine or Butter

  • Toaster

Method
 

To assemble the sandwich
  1. Toast your bread.
  2. Right after toasting the bread, while it is still hot, smear both slices with your favorite margarine.
  3. You will want the margarine to melt in before adding the mayo.
  4. After the margarine has melted, spread the mayo of your choice onto both slices of toast.
  5. Cut up the cucumber into thin planks.
  6. Slice the fresh tomato into thin slices.
  7. Assemble the sandwich with the thin sliced cucumbers and tomatoes over the mayo onto the one slice of toast.
  8. Place the other slice of toast on top of the vegetables.
  9. Cut the sandwich in half.
  10. Enjoy your refreshing cucumber and tomato sandwich with a tall glass of ice tea and a side of chips.
