Equipment
1 Canning jar with a lid
Ingredients
1/3
Cup
Apple Cider Vinegar
1/3
Cup
Oil
I used avocado oil for my dressing. Add your favorite oil.
1
Tbsp
Lemon Juice
1
tsp
Mustard
I use a yellow mustard, but try different varieties of mustard each time you make this dressing.
2
tsp
Real Maple Syrup
This can be substituted with honey if you prefer. You can also add a bit more if you would like the dressing to be sweeter.
Salt and Pepper to taste.
Creamier Dressing
2 to 3
Tbsp
Mayo
I used a vegan mayo in my dressing.
Instructions
I find the best way to blend this dressing is to pour everything into a canning jar with a lid.
Shake vigorously until well blended.
Pour over a fresh bed of lettuce just before serving.
Storing the dressing
I store my dressing in the refrigerator.
The dressing will solidify, but that is not a problem.
Just remove the dressing from the refrigerator, and let it set for about 15 to 30 minutes before serving.
Shake and drizzle on your fresh salad.
Notes
Other uses for this dressing
Try it as a marinade.
Drizzle it on a fruit salad.
It is even great as a vegetable dip.
