Ingredients
  

  • 1 Can Chickpeas
  • 1 tsp Mustard I use the yellow mustard, pick your choice of mustard.
  • 1/3 Cup Vegan Mayo Alternative
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Stalk Celery Chopped
  • 1 tsp Real Maple Syrup Optional
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Dill
  • Salt and Pepper to taste.

Instructions
 

  • Drain and rinse the chickpeas, then add to a medium mixing bowl.
  • Clean and chop the celery and add to the bowl.
  • Add the mayo, mustard, maple syrup, and all the seasonings to the bowl.
  • Stir all the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

How to serve a chickpea salad

  • On top of your favorite bread.
  • Scoop onto a large leaf of lettuce, serving as a salad.
  • Spread onto toast.

Notes

Try experimenting with different spices every time you make this salad.
Add different vegetables to the salad, such as chopped cucumbers or grated carrots.
